I’ve been done with my first letterpress project for a while now.
There’s still 2 or 3 people that have yet to print theirs, so I think tomorrow, I’m going to set the first two stanzas of Pioneers! O Pioneers! by Whitman for fun.
Come my tan-faced children,
Follow well in order, get your weapons ready, For we cannot tarry here,
Have you your pistols? have you your sharp-edged axes?
Pioneers! O pioneers!
We must march my darlings, we must bear the brunt of danger,
We the youthful sinewy races, all the rest on us depend,
Pioneers! O pioneers!
