Stock up on podcasts. I love NPR, but hardly have the time to listen to the radio, so I miss all my favorite programs, such as This American Life, Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me, and A Prairie Home Companion. While you can only download the News from Lake Wobegone section from APHC, most of the other shows are the entire show.
Conor Oberst doesn’t have shit on Phil Elvrum. And if you don’t know who Phil Elvrum is, wikipedia him, and buy all of The Microphones and Mount Eerie albums you can find. Simply fucking incredible.
